Our hand-held plot spraying equipment was developed by Agrartest and is also used by other companies.
Our four plot harvesters ('Wintersteiger Nurserymaster Expert') are fitted with an automatic weighing system, a grain tank and a straw shredder. They are therefore able to handle combine-harvested cultures.
Silage maize trials are harvested with a high-powered 2-row self-driven chopper. Particular features of this chopper include an automatic sampling collection system (which is also able to take double samples for the purposes of NIRS-analysis) which was developed by the company Haldrup. Further features are a weighing system and the option of specifically weighing the bulk hopper. This enables the harvesting of large-scale strip studies.
The samples are administered by means of a barcode scanner and a high-powered electronic data processing system. These devises are indispensable for the evaluation of test results. Numerous laboratory instruments and purifiers are available for further treatment of the samples. We possess our own cold store house, located at our main office, for the storing of samples. GLP-certified portable freezers are available in all branches.
Mobility and operational readiness in all locations are guaranteed by four lorries equipped with low-height one-axle trailers.
